Blade & Stone was founded in 2019 with a single purpose: to bring the craft of barbering back to Sydney's inner suburbs. Our Surry Hills shop on Crown Street was the beginning — a small, focused space where every client gets a proper sit-down, a proper conversation, and a proper cut.
We opened Newtown on King Street two years later, because our clients told us they needed us closer to home. Both shops run the same way: no upselling, no gimmicks, just barbers who are genuinely good at what they do and take pride in it. Lachlan, Tom, Mitch, and Jade have each been in the trade for years. They don't need to perform expertise — they have it.
